Position Information:
• Graduate of an accredited educational program in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography • Current registration in good standing with CMRITO • Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with ARDMS AND/OR current registration as a Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) with Sonography Canada • Current BCLS • Adult cardiac ultrasound experience with contrast use is an asset • Excellent knowledge of the cardiac anatomy, physiology and electrocardiography • Demonstrated excellence in providing patient focused care • Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team environment • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Effective problem-solving skills and critical thinking • Professional, cooperative, mature, reliable and responsible • Ability to be flexible as urgent situations arise • Experience with GE Vivid equipment, imaging software and distribution networks such are Cerner and PACS are an asset • Certification in IV skills with knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices are an asset • Commitment to ongoing professional education and improvement
Salary Range: $37.94 - $53.32
