Houseperson

HOUSEPERSON STARTING WAGE: 20.00 At Carson Hot Springs Resort, we pride ourselves in the ability to offer a doorway into the beauty of nature and simplicity as well as nature's sulfur-rich healing mineral waters. We're hiring a houseperson to join the public-facing side of our housekeeping team, cleaning and maintaining common areas as well as performing heavier tasks on the rooms side.

Previous hotel and/or cleaning experience is helpful but not required -- as long as you're the right person, we'll teach you everything you need to know to exceed standards for work quality and guest happiness. To be successful, you will be a reliable, enthusiastic multitasker who can work independently as well as get along with your team and help out where needed.

Responsibilities

Making sure linens and supplies are stocked and getting them to housekeepers Assist housekeepers with linens and trash Flip mattresses and move furniture Vacuum & clean public areas of the property Floor care Light maintenance (changing light bulbs, etc.) Other job duties as assigned Requirements: Previous hotel or heavy cleaning experience preferred but not required; we'll teach you what you need to know.

Flexible availability. Able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours at a time. Speak, read, write, and understand English.
