Due to an ongoing need for management and prevention of onsite injuries, they have created a new casual or part-time role for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join their dynamic team of enthusiastic staff. The Position… Based in Carole Park, this newly created role aims to provide onsite physiotherapy to manage and prevent onsite injuries. They are seeking a trained Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist that can deliver injury management support and proactive injury prevention to the Carole Park-based workforce. The incumbent will also be responsible for building relationships with workers to help improve their personal health and safety and help them to remain injury-free in their workplace. The specific job responsibilities include:
  • Performing early intervention physiotherapy - treating injuries early before they become chronic.
  • Job site assessments - getting out on the floor with your clients and learning how they do their job.
  • Workplace Assessments - working with your clients to reduce the chance of injuries happening in the first place.
  • Education and Training - educating and empowering workers to take control of their own health.
  • Building lasting relationships and engaging with workplace teams. The Ideal Candidate… To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
  • BSc (Occupational Therapy) or Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Ability to work in a team and work with a high level of autonomy
  • Positive and engaging attitude
  • Ability to problem solve
