We are seeking a Vibration Technician in our Taylor, MI location. On the job training will be provided as required. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience. What You’ll Do: •Work closely with our senior vibration technician to test and analyze spindles, ensuring vibration levels are within tolerance and set up run-off for finished product.
•Analyze vibration data to determine fault frequencies of bearing systems. •Perform field balancing as required. •Occasionally travel to customer sites to perform on-site vibration analysis. •Certified in vibration analysis. Two years of experience as a Vibration Technician preferred. •Proficiency with Emerson (CSI) 2120/2130/2140 is preferred. •Ability to read blueprints, precision measure devices and knowledge of bearing assemblies. •Knowledge of servo spindle drives is considered a plus. •Strong mechanical understanding of industrial equipment.
•Troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. •Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. •Effective communication skills (oral / written) •No lifting restrictions We are an equal opportunity employer M/F/V/D.
