Job Summary

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a member of Coventry's district-wide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Team. The Registered Behavior Technician will support students under the supervision of a district Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Provide a consistent model of trauma-informed ABA practices Model professionalism and adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the BACB Provide constructive feedback to 1:1 staff supporting individualized student programs Work with individual students to reinforce basic skills and check their use of instructional materials under the supervision of the teacher/BCBA Model and monitor data collection procedures with a focus on consistency and fidelity Collaborate with the teacher/BCBA to complete curriculum-based assessments that guide individualized programming Support generalization and maintenance of skills across school environments Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support student needs Safely supervise students in both instructional and assessment activities in and out of the classroom Assist the teacher/BCBA in the development and construction of materials to be used as instructional and reinforcement activities Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Required Registered as a Behavior Technician with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Completion of 40-hour RBT Training BCBA verified competency checklist Application through BACB account Take and pass the RBT exam through Pearson Vue Compensation & Benefits: Employment Status: Full-time Hourly Rate: $27.
