Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) First Choice Home Health & Hospice Part-Time / PRN | Flexible Daytime Schedule Salt Lake County First Choice Home Health & Hospice is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one occupational therapy services to home health patients. This is a great opportunity for a COTA looking for flexible daytime work, professional autonomy, and meaningful patient care in the home setting .

Qualifications

Current Utah Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing Daytime availability Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Strong communication and patient-care skills Ability to work independently in patients' homes and collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist Preferred: Home health experience Adult or geriatric therapy experience Experience with neurological, orthopedic, or functional rehabilitation What You'll Do Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments in patients' homes under the direction of the Occupational Therapist Carry out established treatment plans and goals Help patients improve activities of daily living, safety, mobility, and independence Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, adaptive techniques, and safety strategies Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising OT Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other members of the care team Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Why First Choice?
