Department Lead

QUALITFICATIONS: Must have good communication skills and be able to work with people from different departments in an office and manufacturing environment. Must be detail oriented and well organized. Must be self-motivated and be able to motivate others and promote teamwork. Must be able to change from one task to another frequently.

Comply with all plant and safety rules, and company policies . Adhere to safety, OSHA policies . Must be committed to ISO 9001 and continuous improvement. PRIMARY DUTIES: Work on giving breaks and lunches or relieving personnel when necessary. Supervise employees in the assigned department and insure the employees are performing their job duties.

Perform daily safety meetings Complete and turn in reports pertaining to assigned department. Follow and enforce company policies. Communicate closely with production manager and other supervisors. Communicate with maintenance personnel in order to keep production efficiency. Responsible for maintaining accurate attendance and payroll records.

Ensure self and subordinates adhere to safety policies. Responsible for department housekeeping. Preventive Maintenance Perform in other functions as directed Ensure quality of scrap and work is to standards. Coach and follow up on subordinates. Assist with Safeguard policies and training.
