Job Summary
Responsible for the precise fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance of molds, dies, jigs, fixtures, and related tooling used in manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong understanding of machine shop practices, blueprint reading, and tooling specifications to ensure all components are built to exact standards.
The Mold Maker plays a key role in supporting production efficiency and product quality through skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Assemble and fabricate molds, toolings, dies, jigs, fixtures, and various equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. Perform fabrication, repair, and rehabilitation of molds, tools, dies, and related components. Ensure accuracy and quality in all machining and fabrication tasks. Operate various machine shop equipment and tools to carry out precise machining tasks.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support manufacturing requirements and continuous improvement efforts. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of molds and dies to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Graduate of Tool & Die or Mechanical Engineering Technology; – or High School graduate with substantial hands-on experience in injection mold making. At least 2 years of experience as a Mold Maker in a machine shop environment, with exposure to plastic molds, stamping, or forming die fabrication. Proficient in blueprint reading, shop mathematics, and tool & die making.
Knowledgeable in the operation of standard machine shop equipment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Willing to work in Santa Maria, Bulacan. "Motolite offers you not just a job, but a career with boundless opportunities"
