Job description

Posting Title: Radiologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹350,000 to ₹400,000 LPM Work Experience: 2 years Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-Ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound with clinical accuracy and timeliness.
  • Generate comprehensive, clear, and timely radiology reports that support clinical decision-making.
  • Participate in interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and image-guided therapies under fluoroscopic or ultrasound guidance.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic insights and treatment recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital protocols, and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed and secure medical records in accordance with HIPAA and institutional privacy policies.
  • Stay current with advancements in radiological technology, techniques, and clinical research through continuous professional development.
  • Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, peer review processes, and departmental audits.
  • Mentor and support junior radiology staff, residents, and medical students as needed. Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Radiology (D.M. or DNB in Radiology) from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting.
  • Expertise in interpreting and reporting findings from X-Ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound imaging.
  • Proven proficiency in performing and managing interventional radiology procedures.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and critical thinking skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and PACS systems.
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and any required state-specific licenses.
