Join an established family practice in Barrington Passage, working one day a week in Dr Kenny Yee's Family Practice. This family practice is for all ages. This is a small rural community clinic where you would be caring for an established panel of patients. This is a perfect addition of small clinic community work.
Responsibilities
provide comprehensive, full-scope primary health care to practice patients of all ages and stages of health and illness maintain timely and accurate patient records using a provincially approved electronic medical record (EMR) participate in quality improvement, practice evaluation, and other activities that support the delivery of safe, effective, patient-centered care attend regular physician and team meetings comply with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, policies, and professional standards of Nova Scotia Health partake in continuing medical education (CME) and professional development opportunities participate in teaching of medical learners Expected Hours Full-time Equivalency: 0.
2 FTE weekly hours: 8 hours per week, Fridays call schedule: none 46/52 weeks per year Remuneration Longitudinal Family Medicine (LFM) contract approximately $ 75,000 - 80,000 CAD family physicians in Nova Scotia are compensated based on the LFM payment model or Fee for Service (FFS) Incentives Eligible physicians may qualify for recruitment incentives, relocation support and site visit reimbursement through Nova Scotia Health and the Province of Nova Scotia.
