General Obstetrician/Gynecologist (Locum &Permanent)

Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a skilled General Obstetrician/Gynecologist (Locum & Permanent) to join our team. Our 190-bed community hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic laboratory and imaging support services. Recent updates to our Labour & Delivery and Postpartum floor, as well as Surgical Suites, ensure a contemporary and comfortable working environment.

CMH is classified as a Level 2C hospital, specializing in the care of mothers and babies from 34 weeks gestational age and above, handling between 1400-1600 deliveries annually. As an affiliated teaching site with the Waterloo Campus of the Michael G. De. Groote School of Medicine, Mc. Master University, there are opportunities to engage with medical learners at various levels, including medical students and residents.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including office practice, operating room time and participation in a 1 in 8 on-call rotation. While advanced training or fellowship in minimally invasive surgery is considered an asset, it is not mandatory. Candidates must be FRCSC trained (or equivalent) and eligible for an independent, unrestricted license with the CPSO.
