Games Global is looking for a bright, analytical FP&A Analyst to support the budgeting, forecasting and reporting cycles that help leadership understand performance and make better decisions.

Working closely with the FP&A Manager and stakeholders across the business, the analyst will prepare management reporting and variance analysis, maintain financial models, and contribute to ad hoc analysis that supports strategic and operational decisions. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team sits within Games Global's Finance function and is responsible for budgeting, forecasting and management reporting across the group.

The team turns data into insight – helping leadership understand performance, plan ahead and make well-informed commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing monthly management reports, including variance analysis of actuals against budget and forecast. Support the annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes by gathering inputs, building schedules and consolidating data. Maintain and improve financial models, dashboards and reporting templates to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Help track key performance indicators and revenue, cost and margin trends, flagging anomalies for review. Partner with accounting and business teams to reconcile figures and understand the drivers behind the numbers. Prepare clear, well-presented charts and commentary for inclusion in management and board packs. Contribute to ad hoc analysis and business cases that support strategic and operational decisions.

Continually look for ways to automate and streamline recurring reporting tasks.

Qualifications

Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field Fully qualified CA(SA) or CIMA 1–2 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting or a similar analytical role Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting cycles Experience in a technology, gaming or other high-growth environment Knowledge Strong Excel skills Experience in a technology, gaming or other high-growth environment – functions, pivot tables and building clean, well-structured financial models Solid understanding of core financial concepts such as P&L, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present findings clearly to stakeholders High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in numerical work Exposure to BI or visualisation tools (e.
