Overview

We are seeking an individual to act as the local People Operations lead for your location, owning delivery of People Operations and providing hands-on advisory support to our People. The role combines operational accountability and business partnering, ensuring People processes are delivered effectively, employees have a positive experience, and the business is supported with compliant, streamlined and commercially appropriate people solutions.

Responsibilities

People Operations Own the delivery of People Operations within the location, ensuring quality and consistency Act as the primary escalation point for People-related operational issues Act as a coach to managers Ensure effective execution of core processes (onboarding, lifecycle changes, exits etc) Ensure alignment with global standards and governance Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and employee experience locally Business Partnering & Advisory Build strong relationships with business leaders and managers in your location Act as a trusted advisor on people-related matters Coach managers on leadership capability, team effectiveness, and people management Support workforce planning, including headcount planning and organisational design Talent, Performance & Engagement Support delivery of performance management processes (goal setting, reviews, feedback cycles) Partner with managers to identify and develop talent within the business Support engagement initiatives and action planning based on employee feedback Coordinate with central team on development and learning initiatives Recruitment & Workforce Delivery Partner with global Recruiter to deliver recruitment for the location Work with managers to prepare role profiles, and ensure effective and timely hiring processes Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and provide hiring recommendations Ensure adherence to recruitment processes, governance, and employer branding standards Employee Relations and Compliance Advise and support managers on employee relations issues, including performance, conduct and grievances Ensure compliance with local employment law, internal policies, and governance standards Manage sensitive issues with confidentiality and professionalism Escalate complex or high-risk cases where appropriate Change Management Support the implementation of organizational changes at a local level Guide managers through change processes, ensuring clear communication and minimal disruption Help maintain engagement and stability during periods of change Data and Insights Use data to identify trends and inform decision making Monitor key HR metrics such as absenteeism, turnover, and engagement, and recommend actions to address trends Provide insights to both local leadership and central People team Support reporting requirements as needed Reward Support the delivery of annual Reward processes (e.

g. pay review, bonus) Act as payroll contingency when required Support the promotion process Contribute to and support adhoc Reward projects as required Qualifications Experience supporting business leaders and manging ER cases 3-5 years generalist HR experience Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and influence decision-making Experience leading and managing HR projects and initiatives from conception to implementation Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Equal Opportunities Statement Games Global is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
