We are looking for a Junior QA & Customer Support Engineer who enjoys helping people, solving problems, testing software, and learning how technology works.
Position Summary
As a Junior QA & Customer Support Engineer , you will be one of the first people customers and users interact with when they need help. You will support Medido Health products such as Knostos, AIME, the Mobile App, and other healthcare solutions. The role combines customer support and software quality assurance. You will investigate customer issues, reproduce problems, test new features, document bugs, and work closely with QA, Engineering, Product, and other teams to make sure issues are properly understood and resolved.
This is a great role for someone who wants to build a career in QA, technical support, application support, or software engineering. What You Will Do? Respond to customer and user support requests and provide clear, professional assistance. Investigate issues by following troubleshooting steps, reviewing logs, checking application behavior, and gathering the information needed to understand the problem.
Reproduce customer issues and create clear bug reports for the QA and Engineering teams. Test new features, bug fixes, integrations, and existing functionality to make sure they work as expected. Perform basic regression, functional, and API testing when needed. Collect useful information such as screenshots, timestamps, error messages, steps to reproduce, and logs.
Work with Engineering, QA, Product, and DevOps teams to investigate and resolve issues. Track support tickets and follow up with customers until the issue is resolved or properly escalated. Identify repeated problems and help improve documentation, test cases, and support processes. Follow security and privacy practices when working with healthcare data and HIPAA/PHI.
Use tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Postman, browser developer tools, and other troubleshooting and testing tools. Required Knowledge/Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. One year or more of experience in customer support, technical support, QA, application support, or a related role. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to clearly document issues and explain technical problems. Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, and software development. Basic experience with QA and software testing.Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Experience using browser developer tools.
Basic understanding of logs, APIs, HTTP, and web applications. Experience with Postman or API testing. Comfortable using ticketing and project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Zendesk, or similar tools. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a remote global team. Willingness to learn new technologies and healthcare systems.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Experience with mobile application testing. Experience supporting SaaS products. Experience with healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated software. Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI, or healthcare data privacy. Basic understanding of Git or software development workflows. Experience using AI tools such as Codex, Claude, Cursor, or similar tools for troubleshooting, learning, documentation, and productivity.
Speaking Spanish language is a plus. What We Look For? We are looking for someone who is curious, patient, and comfortable asking questions. You should enjoy figuring out why something is not working, rather than simply passing the problem to someone else. You should be able to communicate clearly with customers while also communicating technical details effectively to engineers.
Because we work in healthcare, we also expect you to take security, privacy, data quality, and customer trust seriously. Training and Work Schedule Initial training will be provided onsite during regular business hours. The regular work schedule is Thursday through Monday, 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM Palestine time.( It could be changed depending on the support shift ) Candidates must be able to consistently work this schedule, and be flexible for any changes.
Due to daylight saving time differences, the corresponding Palestine schedule may change during the year. Work Location: This is a online position based in Palestine. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable environment for working remotely/hybrid and handling sensitive healthcare information.
