Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer - Onsite(Ramallah, Palestine)

Position Summary

We are looking for a Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work across the frontend and backend, with a strong focus on backend development, APIs, microservices, databases, testing, and cloud infrastructure. You will help build new features, improve existing services, and support the reliability and scalability of our healthcare platform.

Because we work with sensitive healthcare data, you will also play an important role in following secure development practices and protecting PHI and other sensitive information. What You Will Do? Develop and maintain features across the frontend and backend. Build and maintain APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed services.

Work with Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, Python, and Go. Work with Angular and Ionic for frontend. Work with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases and improve query and application performance. Build and maintain automated unit, integration, API, and load tests. Work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS to build and support cloud based services.

Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions. Work closely with product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams. Use modern AI development tools such as Codex, Claude, and Cursor to improve development, testing, debugging, and productivity while maintaining responsibility for code quality and security.

Follow secure engineering practices when working with healthcare data, PHI, and HIPAA related requirements. Required Knowledge/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. More than 3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a strong backend focus.

Strong experience with Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, and Python is a must. Strong experience with Angular is a must. Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. Professional experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL. Experience with automated testing, Git, code reviews, and CI/CD practices. Experience with Docker and cloud environments, preferably AWS.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Fluent English, written and spoken. Ability to work effectively with a global engineering team. Experience using AI coding and development tools such as Codex, Claude, Cursor, or similar tools. Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Experience with Go (Golang). Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

Experience with Data Engineering and ETL/ELT. Experience with React, vite, Next, or another modern frontend framework. Experience with AI development and Machine Learning. Experience with AWS EKS and Kubernetes. Experience with AWS services such as ECS and RDS. Experience with event-driven systems, messaging, and asynchronous processing.

Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices. Experience with healthcare systems, APIs, FHIR, HL7, or healthcare interoperability. Experience working with HIPAA, PHI, or other regulated/sensitive data.
