Bilingual Chinese-Speaking In-Home Caregiver

Location: Charlotte, NC 28277 (Overstone Ct area) Position Type: Part-Time / Consistent Hours Language Requirement: Must be fluent in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) Schedule Structure This position offers consistent morning blocks throughout the week. We are open to hiring a single caregiver to cover the entire schedule or dividing the hours between a weekday and weekend provider:

• Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and bilingual Chinese-Speaking In-Home Caregiver / Aide to provide dedicated, one-on-one care for an elderly client living in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte (28277). Because communication and cultural comfort are vital to our client’s daily well-being, the ideal candidate must be fully fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).

Key Responsibilities

• Language & Companionship: Provide meaningful companionship, conversation, and emotional support in the client’s native language to prevent isolation.
• Morning Personal Care: Assist with daily activities of living (ADLs) including gentle assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and morning personal hygiene.
• Culturally Familiar Meal Prep: Prepare light, nutritious morning meals or snacks according to the client’s dietary needs and cultural preferences.
• Medication Reminders: Provide timely prompts to ensure morning medications are taken safely and on schedule.
• Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment (including wiping down surfaces, washing breakfast dishes, and tidying the immediate living area).

Requirements

& Qualifications

• Language Skills: Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is strictly required.
• Experience: Previous professional experience as a Caregiver, CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is highly preferred.
• Compliance: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a Current TB Test.
• Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and a reliable personal vehicle to ensure consistent, on-time arrival for morning shifts in the 28277 area.
