Server Assistant

As a Server Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly and provides an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment by promptly clearing tables, resetting them for the next guests, and assisting servers and other team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of all food menus. Ensure guests’ orders are properly delivered to the correct tables. Provide guests with proper silverware, napkins, and shared plates when delivering food. Keep the kitchen station clean, organized, and stocked. Assist servers, bartenders, and managers by carrying plates and other items as needed.

Communicate courteously and effectively with guests and co-workers. Relay food orders to chefs, prioritizing special requests and urgent orders. Perform duties calmly and effectively under stressful conditions. Promote teamwork by proactively assisting co-workers and contributing to a positive work environment.

• Paid Annual Leave – Employees are entitled to one (1) week every six (6) months or two (2) weeks annually.
• Paid Sick Leave – Employees who complete six (6) months of employment are entitled to one (1) week annually. A Doctors Letters must be provided.
• Paid Maternity Leave – Female employees who complete one (1) year employment are entitled to thirteen (13) weeks max maternity leave. This time can be taken at any time during pregnancy or post-partum.
• Paid Compassionate Leave
• Employee with at least six (6) months employment are entitled to three (3) days compassionate leave. Applicable to deaths of immediate family members only. Immediate family members include Mother, Father, Spouse, Child, Grandparents.
• Public Holidays: Employees are entitled to double pay on Public Holidays.
• Gratuities. These are pooled with all FOH and BOH staff.
