The hospital is dedicated to improving health outcomes, facilitating access to quality care and addressing the unique needs of military personnel, their families, and the broader community in the Northern Emirates. We are looking for a detail-oriented Template Builder to manage clinic scheduling templates, clinician rosters, and appointment availability at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital (SSBZH).
This role is essential in ensuring accurate scheduling, optimizing patient access, supporting operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with applicable healthcare and accreditation standards. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, effective stakeholder communication, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize clinic scheduling templates, provider rosters, and appointment availability to support patient access and operational efficiency. Ensure provider schedules are accurately configured, finalized, and published within agreed timelines. Implement approved template builds and schedule changes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, and operational stakeholders to maximize resource utilization and service delivery. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues through professional and effective communication. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, patient confidentiality requirements, and applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
Monitor scheduling performance, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to continuous process enhancement initiatives. Achieve agreed service levels, quality standards, turnaround times, and key performance indicators while supporting a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
Experience in healthcare setting providing appointment scheduling or equivalent work experience in another relevant industry. Three (3) years experience as a Contact Center Agent. Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, hospital operations. Fluent in Arabic and English; strong oral and written communication in both languages.
