Job Title: Senior Vice President, Sales

Position Description We are seeking a seasoned enterprise sales leader to expand Decklar’s visibility and intelligence solution footprint in market through a consultative, value-selling approach with large enterprises in Pharma, Food, Chemicals, Electronics, Automotive, and Logistics. If you have proven enterprise sales leadership experience in the US and internationally and enjoy playing a key role in transforming large enterprises through digitization and enjoy contributing significantly to leading scale-up in a high growth industry: supply chain technology, this role is a great fit.
Responsibilities
Work with the CEO and executive team to develop a revenue plan for the region. Net new sales: Close new business with top-tier companies in Pharma, Food, Chemicals, Electronics, Automotive, and Logistics with the help of your team with direct involvement in large and strategic accounts. Expansion sales: Expand usage within signed accounts to more lanes and regions and upsell value-added features such as analytics to improve their business KPIs with direct involvement in large and strategic accounts.
Value-selling: Build a consultatively selling culture on business value using ROI analysis, demos, proof-of-value, solutioning, and formulating deployment plans. Assist Sales Directors in delivering value-centric proposals to demonstrate ROI from visibility packages, analytics, professional services, control tower, and more of Decklar’s solution stack.
Seasoned enterprise sales leadership: Hire and nurture a team of high-performing Enterprise Sales Directors. Build and manage Quota Attainment Plans and their success. Manage teams on a daily and weekly basis through Salesforce CRM, including running effective sales cadences with strategic vision, direction, and customer focus.
Accurately forecast sales for the region using data and on-ground insights. Coach and guide the team to navigate complex enterprise deal-making sales cycles with multiple stakeholders in a large enterprise and sell the value proposition to each of them uniquely. Monitor and resolve quote-to-cash issues promptly in collaboration with other teams.
Maintain excellent relationships with your key accounts and prospects through regular customer visits and online interactions. Build new business pipeline by prospecting over and above the leads provided by demand generation team using your network and sales relationships.
Requirements
12+ years of enterprise selling experience with average ticket sizes of $250 K+ and track record of consistently achieving quotas in upwards of $1M per Sales Manager/Director. Proven sales leadership: Must include 5+ years in a sales leadership role managing 5 or more senior sales reports (Enterprise Sales Director or higher) with a high team quota attainment rate.
Scale-up experience: Must include 2+ years in a role demonstrating success working in a scaling startup or in a large organization during its fast-growing phase. Consultative, value-selling experience: Sold digitization solutions like supply chain software, ERP, TMS, etc. to large enterprises. Demonstrated consultative selling experience with hands on involvement in ROI assessments, creating customized value-proposition materials, etc.
Participated in or driven solution design for large enterprise customers. Technology enthusiast: Experience selling SaaS solutions without high initial brand recognition and working in the supply chain and logistics space with are all pluses. Experience with CRMs & Sales Forecasting: Managed teams using CRMs such as Salesforce, Zoho, Hubspot, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
and experience creating system-based forecasting models with a high attainment rate.
