Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

HOURS: 10 Month (School Year) Monday

• Friday 7.5 hours/day (not including 30 minute lunch break) SALARY: Minimum Starting $20.75/hour BENEFITS: Health and Dental Life Insurance New York State Employee Retirement System (NYSERS) Pension Longevity Payments Professional Development QUALIFICATIONS: NY State Licensed Practical Nurse Certification ( required ) JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: LPN will assist the School Nurse/RN in charge of the Health Office. Under the supervision of the RN, the LPN will: assess students attend to minor medical needs deliver medication as prescribed by doctor orders assist with hygiene/toileting of younger students perform medical procedures as appropriate for a school health office other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor FLSA: Non-exempt The Fairport Central School District is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
