• Locums Coverage Period: Sep 29, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM and 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM shifts; 24-hour shifts available Hours Per Shift: 12 Reason for Coverage: Start Up Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 26 patients per day Case Mix: General emergency medicine FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 8 ED beds EMR System: Epic JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: ABEM Board Certified/Board Eligible Licenses: Active West Virginia medical license or IMLC eligibility; DEA pending DEA / CDS: Pending DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide locum tenens emergency medicine coverage at War Memorial Hospital (Critical Access Hospital). Manage a diverse patient population with an annual volume of 9,500 in an 8-bed ED. Work 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM), with potential for 24-hour shifts. Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and order entry. Collaborate with hospital staff and maintain compliance with credentialing requirements, including cross-credentialing at Hampshire Memorial.
