JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Pocatello, ID Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Call Only Coverage Period: Sep – Ongoing Call Schedule: Night shifts (5pm-7am) & 24-hour shifts as needed Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 30 mins Reason for Coverage: Call coverage support Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency SPECIFIC SHIFTS TO FILL September 10, 14 (5pm-7am) September 18-20 (24-hour shifts) September 22, 23 (5pm-7am) Additional dates needed each month through December PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: OB/GYN patients, including high-risk antepartum Average Daily Volume: Not specified Admissions: 2-3/day Rounding: Assigned Patients Phone Consults: 3-5/day Case Mix: OB/GYN, High-risk pregnancies, Level 3 NICU FACILITY INFORMATION EMR: Epic Specialty Backup Available: MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) on campus Support Staff: RNs: 3-5, Office Staff: 2 NICU Level: III PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation

- Performance of, interpretation Level I/Screening (viability) Level II/Targeted (anatomic) Amniocentesis Routine delivery Vaginal Low forceps Decision-making for c-section Complicated delivery C-section Breech Multiple births Abruptions VBAC's Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Preferred: Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE Licenses: Active ID or IMLC Fellowship: Preferred Duties & Responsibilities Provide call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology services Manage high-risk antepartum patients Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists Supervise family medicine residents in OB/GYN patient management Perform deliveries (vaginal and C-section) and related procedures
