We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to oversee office operations while managing accounting, payroll, human resources, and administrative functions. Full-time, exempt position Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 per year depending on experience Reports directly to the President / General Manager Opportunity to build and improve accounting, financial reporting, and administrative systems Direct involvement in financial and operational decision-making Broad responsibility across accounting, job costing, payroll, HR administration, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations Opportunity to develop scalable accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes Growth-oriented environment where your financial expertise directly supports business performance Why You’ll Love It Here Help shape financial processes, controls, and systems as the company grows Work directly with leadership and provide financial insights that support business decisions Own both strategy and execution, from day-to-day accounting and cash flow management to forecasting and financial analysis Develop processes and systems designed to support sustainable growth Work across accounting, project operations, payroll, HR, banking, and administration Join an organization focused on quality, operational efficiency, accountability, and dependable execution Your New Role Work from the company's location just outside Reno, Nevada Own and maintain the company's accounting system, including Sage Intacct integrated with Sigma MRP or equivalent ERP platforms Perform and oversee bookkeeping, general ledger activity, revenue recognition, and expense recording Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Forecasts, and Budget vs.

Actual Reports Complete account reconciliations and maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records Manage project accounting and job costing Track project revenue, labor, materials, overhead, and costs and prepare job profitability reports Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and communicate financial and project cost trends to leadership Manage accounts payable, vendor bills, payment scheduling, and cash flow prioritization Oversee accounts receivable, aging, collections, and cash flow Coordinate customer invoicing based on project milestones and shipments Process and oversee payroll, payroll taxes, garnishments, deductions, and related requirements Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local financial and employment requirements Manage daily cash flow and develop forecasts to support operational needs Maintain banking relationships and assist leadership with financing needs Monitor expenditures against available cash and operational priorities Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial analysis Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, cost drivers, and operational opportunities Translate financial results into clear, actionable information for company leadership Maintain employee records, benefits tracking, onboarding documentation, and HR records Support HR administration and related internal processes Establish and continuously improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial reporting processes Help implement scalable ERP, accounting, and administrative systems as the company grows Maintain confidentiality of company financial and employee information Provide guidance to accounting or administrative support staff as the organization expands Hiring Expectations: Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting Experience with job costing, manufacturing accounting, project accounting, or a comparable project-based accounting environment Proficiency with Sage, Sage Intacct, or similar accounting and ERP systems Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills Experience preparing and interpreting financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Experience overseeing or processing payroll and maintaining payroll compliance Ability to communicate financial information clearly to company leadership and other stakeholders Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic environment Ability to appropriately handle confidential financial and employee information Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred Experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a related industry preferred ERP implementation or system migration experience preferred Knowledge of payroll regulations and labor compliance preferred Ability to work additional hours when necessary during month-end or year-end close We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the job they do and eager to contribute to our team.
