Your Role as a Home Health PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant)**
As a Physical Therapist Assistant in home health**, you will deliver skilled therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on rehabilitation, fall prevention, and functional mobility**.
Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide in-home physical therapy services** following the established Plan of Care
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation programs**
- Support senior care patients** in improving strength, balance, and independence
- Monitor, document, and report patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention**
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and the interdisciplinary care team
Qualifications:**
- Active Arizona Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license**
- Current CPR certification (AHA required)**
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience** (home health experience preferred)
- Strong interest in home health, rehab, and senior care**
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
