Location: Remote (Latin America) Job Type: Full-time, Contract About Us: AgilityIO is a software development firm that designs and builds custom applications for startups and Fortune 500 companies. We are a global team of over 400 developers, QA engineers, project managers, and UX/UI designers with offices in New York City and Vietnam.
This is a full-time contractor role based in Latin America. We are seeking a versatile Senior Full Stack Developer to build intuitive front-end experiences and scalable serverless backend systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack, with a strong focus on API integrations and modern web technologies.
Job Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern frameworks (e.g., TypeScript/React, Node.js, Python)
- Design and implement scalable backend services with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Ensure applications meet high standards of performance, responsiveness, and security
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines; monitor systems for reliability and performance
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions Qualifications & Experience: - 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, or C#)
- Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred; Angular or Vue a plus)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices
- Skilled in Git, testing frameworks, and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams in English Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer Associate)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, Cloud. Formation)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and observability tools (e.g., AWS Cloud. Watch, Datadog, Prometheus) What We Offer:
