CTG is seeking to fill a Sterling B2B Administrator position for our client. Join a Platform Engineering team supporting enterprise B2B integration infrastructure. This role is responsible for administering IBM Sterling B2B Integrator across multiple environments, ensuring platform stability, security, high availability, and seamless trading partner connectivity.
The ideal candidate has strong infrastructure administration experience and enjoys solving complex technical challenges in mission-critical production environments. Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 12 months Key Responsibilities: Administer IBM Sterling B2B Integrator across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
Install, configure, maintain, and support Sterling B2B infrastructure. Perform upgrades, patching, migrations, and environment provisioning. Configure and support High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), clustering, and load balancing. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize platform reliability.
Manage SSL certificates, platform security, user access, and compliance requirements. Support trading partner onboarding using AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S, and IBM MQ. Provide production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and capacity planning. Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Partner with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to deliver reliable integration services. Perform infrastructure risk assessments and business impact analysis to improve platform resilience. Ensure service delivery meets established SLAs and operational standards.
Required Skills
IBM Sterling B2B Integrator administration Enterprise infrastructure support Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Sterling environments HA, DR, clustering, and load balancing AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S, and IBM MQ SSL certificate management and platform security Performance monitoring and troubleshooting Production support and incident management Capacity planning and operational documentation Infrastructure security, compliance, and risk management Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Background check (BGC) required Preferred Experience: 5+ years administering IBM Sterling B2B Integrator in enterprise environments.
Experience supporting large-scale, highly available production systems. Experience with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and platform lifecycle management. Familiarity with ITIL processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Experience onboarding external trading partners and supporting secure B2B integrations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
