Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Post Closing Specialist I to support the post-closing operations of a high-volume mortgage department. This role is ideal for someone with mortgage operations or financial services experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys ensuring documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Location: Williamsville, NY Duration: 6 months (Part-Time, 3 days per week) Primary Responsibilities Process and track incoming mortgage closing packages, credit files, mail, and trailing documents. Update mortgage production and file tracking systems with accurate documentation status. Prepare and scan mortgage files into the imaging system.
Audit mortgages, assignments, CEMAs, final title policies, and related documentation for investor compliance. Process checks received with closing packages accurately and promptly. Contact settlement agents and title companies to obtain missing or corrected documents. Generate and monitor daily reports, resolving documentation exceptions as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams and external business partners to ensure timely file completion. Support compliance, operational risk, and audit requirements while maintaining accurate records. Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred. One year of business experience, preferably in mortgage operations, lending, title, or settlement services. Prior mortgage and/or customer service experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills. Reliable, dependable, and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general PC skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
