About the Role
Bakers Delight Castletown is looking for an experienced Baker to join our team. This role involves hands-on baking, maintaining product quality, and ensuring daily production targets are achieved in a busy retail bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Produce a variety of bread and bakery products in line with Bakers Delight recipes and standards Prepare dough through accurate measuring, mixing, kneading, and moulding Control fermentation and proofing conditions to achieve consistent results Bake products using commercial ovens while adjusting settings as required Maintain production schedules to ensure fresh products are available throughout the day Monitor quality of ingredients and finished products Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory management Maintain cleanliness of bakery equipment and work areas Assist in training and supporting junior bakery staff Requirements Certificate III in Baking (or equivalent) preferred Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Baker Strong understanding of bakery operations and food safety practices Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends Good organisational and teamwork skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Benefits Full-time secure employment Friendly and supportive team culture Career growth opportunities within the business Employee benefits and staff discounts Join our team at Bakers Delight Castletown and be part of delivering freshly baked quality products every day.
