HVAC Technician

Yellowstone Local is proud to represent Shafer Mechanical, an established commercial HVAC and mechanical contractor. Earn 35–55 per hour while servicing commercial HVAC and mechanical systems throughout the Austin area. This position includes a take-home company truck and fuel card, a Monday–Friday schedule, and opportunities to work with equipment including VRF/VRV systems, chillers, boilers, VFDs, controls, and central plants.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of HVAC trade experience Hands-on commercial HVAC service and troubleshooting experience EPA Section 608 Universal Certification Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: VRF/VRV systems Air- or water-cooled chillers VFDs Building control systems Boilers or central plant equipment Candidates are not required to have experience with every system listed.
