Echo Sonographer - Cardiology

This position performs diagnostic cardiology imaging to provide a source of data to be interpreted by the cardiologist. Imaging exams include: transthoracic, stress (exercise or pharmacological), and transesophageal echocardiography. The sonographer explains examination to patient and family, if present, completes consent forms and worksheets according to department policy, performs diagnostic echo sonography, and transports and assists patients to rooms to facilitate examination as needed.
