About 1520

We are 1520, a boutique Millennial and Gen Z marketing and employer branding consulting agency based in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. We have been shaped by our international backgrounds (one Swiss, one German, both a little Dutch), our diverse education, our families and friends, their businesses and by sub- and countercultures. Consequently, ‘1520’ is derived from ‘1520 Sedgwick Avenue’, an apartment building in the Bronx, New York City, that is known as the birthplace of Hip Hop. We have been shaped by our international backgrounds (one Swiss, one German, both a little Dutch), our diverse education, our families and friends, their businesses and by sub- and countercultures. Consequently, ‘1520’ is derived from ‘1520 Sedgwick Avenue’, an apartment building in the Bronx, New York City, that is known as the birthplace of Hip Hop. We have a strong network of likeminded partners - graphic designers, photographers, consultants etc. - to fall back on when additional skills are required.
