About 1820 Brands

At 1820 Brands, we are a family-owned beverage manufacturing company. Rooted in the independent spirit of Maine, we see our home state's vast natural beauty, from its jagged shores to its deep woods, as the ultimate expression of Freedom – and that spirit fuels everything we do. 1820 Brands builds on the pioneering legacy of Geary Brewing, Maine’s first craft brewery, a history defined by innovation and the belief that people deserve more options. Just like Maine's evolving landscape, our tastes and offerings have grown. Today, 1820 Brands produces premium beverages across every category, from crisp, pure waters and unique THC drinks to legendary craft beers, all made under one roof with state-of-the-art manufacturing, brewing, canning and co-packing capabilities. Our facility combines small-batch craftsmanship with modern precision—supporting a full range of services including recipe development, carbonation and infusion, pasteurization, advanced filtration, and flexible packaging formats. Whether crafting our own brands or helping partners bring theirs to life, we approach every product with the same dedication to quality. Because at 1820 Brands, we believe that every drink should do more than refresh—it should bring people together, to celebrate life on their own terms.
