About 3North

Founded in 1999, 3North is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design firm with studios in Richmond, VA and San Francisco, CA. We believe great design is only created when a diverse staff of architects, landscape architects, and interior designers work together across disciplines toward an integrated project vision. We call it Unified Design and we’ve built 3North around it. Our environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and design-driven, and our portfolio spans residential, hospitality, cultural, and educational clients, locally and nationally. We’re taking a stand for Unified Design because we believe it leads to the best work for our clients, the best environment for our people, and the greatest contribution to architecture and design. It’s what makes 3North as unique as the solutions we create.
