About Academy of Dental Materials

The objectives of the Academy are as follows: a. to provide a forum for the advancement of the science of dental biomaterials in both basic and applied aspects of the physical and chemical properties, the biological interactions, the clinical applications, and the techniques associated with the utilization of materials in the field of dentistry; b. to encourage research in the development of materials applicable to the art and science of dentistry through exchange of ideas; c. to enhance communication between industrial researchers, institutional scientific investigators, and the professional dentist with an interest in research; and d. to promote the health of the general public through advancement of the art and science of dentistry.
