About Access Built

Access Built is an inclusive design and accessibility consultancy that helps organizations remove barriers, improve user experience, and create environments that support the full range of human ability. We work with architects, developers, corporations, and government agencies to move beyond compliance and create spaces and systems that more people can navigate with confidence. Our Friction Point Method identifies the small but critical barriers that affect people with disabilities, aging adults, caregivers, and neurodivergent individuals. These barriers often go unnoticed yet shape safety, comfort, and daily usability. We help clients understand these challenges and translate them into practical design improvements. What We Do • Accessibility Assessments • Inclusive Design Strategy • Friction Point Workshops • Neurodivergent and Disability Inclusive Training • Emergency Preparedness Planning • Design Review and Implementation Support Who We Support Real estate developers, cities and civic agencies, architects, healthcare and senior living operators, cultural and entertainment venues, workplace and retail teams, and residential property owners. Why It Matters Accessible environments strengthen customer experience, improve employee well-being, reduce risk, and expand market reach. People with disabilities and aging adults represent trillions in spending power. Designing for them benefits everyone. Our mission is to remove friction that limits participation and help organizations build environments that work better for all.
