About ACE | Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs

ACE | Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs is a nonprofit community lender whose mission is to provide economic development to underserved people and communities, including low-income, minority and women borrowers. ACE provides loans and business development resources to help its borrowers create and grow sustainable businesses that generate jobs. Since 2000, ACE has provided more than $237 million in loans to 2,700+ businesses, saving or creating in excess of 22,000 jobs in Georgia. For small companies in a vulnerable stage of growth, an ACE loan can mean the difference between success and failure, and for larger companies, our assistance can enhance competitiveness and sustainability. ACE has emerged as a leader in responsive and innovative small business financing in Georgia. This leadership was recognized with a 2010 Opportunity Finance Network Wells Fargo NEXT Award for innovation. In 2011, ACE was accepted into the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses CDFI Growth Collaborative, a collaborative working-group of 21 CDFIs from around the country who focus on expanding small business lending capacity and CNN Money recognized ACE as one of the country’s Top 10 microfinance organizations. In 2014, ACE was named by the Georgia office of the U.S. Small Business Administration as the Financial Services Champion of the Year.
