About Acton Academy Ilhabela

Acton Academy Ilhabela is a learner-driven bilingual school grounded in Courage, Excellence and Truth. We are not a traditional school. We believe children learn best when challenged to take ownership of their journey, developing autonomy, responsibility and strong character. Our Guides are not lecturers, but mentors who cultivate clear thinking, discipline and accountability. Through Socratic discussions, real-world challenges and a highly structured environment, learners are expected to think independently and act with integrity. We seek individuals who value responsibility, intellectual rigor and personal growth.
