About Adiabatic Materials
The U.S. chemical supply chain—particularly for pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals—is highly dependent on foreign production, creating vulnerabilities in national security, healthcare, and industrial resilience. Adiabatic Materials is building a next-generation domestic manufacturing platform that enables the U.S. to produce critical chemicals locally. Our electrochemical system replaces dirty, labor-intensive legacy thermochemical processes with a modular, clean, and automated approach that delivers high-purity products with fewer steps, lower waste, and lower cost. The technology, developed at Harvard, has already demonstrated broad applicability across pharmaceutical intermediates and industrial chemicals. Adiabatic aims to reshore the manufacturing of critical chemicals and secure domestic supply chains for essential industries.
