About Adopt-a-Pet.com

We’ll help you adopt true love from shelters, rescues, & private owners! Our mission (and our passion) is to help good people find and adopt great pets! For more than 20 years our search engine has helped shelters, humane societies, SPCAs, pet rescue groups, pet adoption agencies, and private owners advertise their homeless pets to adopters for free. And now, we’re a Kinship company too. Haven’t heard of them yet? Kinship is a coalition of brands, teams, and partners, all using their individual strengths to help bring more care to pet care.

Founded in 2004 by Amy Luwis, David Meyer and Doug McKee.
