About Adult Vaccine Alliance / Alliance Vaccins pour Adultes
The Adult Vaccine Alliance (AVA) is a national coalition focused on improving access to adult vaccination across Canada. Vaccination is one of the most effective tools to prevent illness, reduce pressure on the health system, and support a healthier, more productive population. Yet access to adult vaccines remains inconsistent, with gaps in awareness, funding and delivery across jurisdictions. AVA brings together partners from across the health system to advance practical, evidence-based solutions that improve access to adult immunization. This includes strengthening policy, supporting public and private coverage, and increasing awareness of the value of vaccination across the lifespan. Through research, advocacy and collaboration, AVA works to ensure more adults can access the vaccines they need, when they need them.
