About AEP Texas

At AEP Texas, service is more than the safe, reliable delivery of electricity at a reasonable price. We use our "Boundless Energy" to create a connection throughout our 97,000 square mile service territory in south and west Texas. That connection extends beyond our power lines, substations and other equipment used to deliver power to over one million homes, businesses and industries. For nearly a century, AEP Texas has played a very prominent role in the cities, communities and areas we serve. Our employees take pride in the fact that we not only work and live in these areas, we have a strong connection with local organizations, civic groups and other key community groups. We are proud Texans who care deeply about the communities in which we live.
