About Africa Digital Economy Forum

The Africa Digital Economy Forum (ADEF) is a pan-African platform dedicated to advancing the growth and development of Africa’s digital economy. As the continent transitions toward technology enabled economies, ADEF plays a strategic role in fostering innovation, strengthening ICT infrastructure, and promoting policies that support inclusive digital transformation. With Africa’s digital economy projected to exceed $300 billion, ADEF works at the intersection of research, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement to unlock opportunities across sectors. The organization collaborates with governments, private sector leaders, and development partners to build a connected ecosystem that empowers businesses, startups, and communities. ADEF champions initiatives that promote digital inclusion, investment in data privacy and digital identity systems, and the development of Africa’s startup ecosystem. By creating synergy among key stakeholders, the Forum is helping shape a stronger, more resilient Digital Africa. Headquartered in Accra, Ghana, with an additional presence in the United Kingdom, ADEF continues to serve as a catalyst for collaboration, insight, and sustainable digital growth across the continent.
