About Africa Health Actions Inc. (AHA)

Africa Health Actions, Inc. (AHA) is a Maryland-based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health outcomes and strengthening public health systems across Sub-Saharan Africa. As a technical assistance and capacity-building organization, AHA partners with local communities, governments, and global stakeholders to deliver sustainable, community-driven health solutions. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of vulnerable populations by equipping health systems and frontline workers with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to thrive. We specialize in supporting healthcare infrastructure, advancing workforce development, and implementing evidence-based interventions through strategic partnerships. AHA’s focus spans a broad range of public health priorities—including infectious diseases, maternal and child health, nutrition, non-communicable diseases, and health system strengthening—ensuring that local responses are both comprehensive and equitable. Through integrated planning, workforce training, and strategic advisory services, we empower communities to lead their own health development and contribute to lasting global health impact.
