About Africa Innovation and Research Centre

AIRCE is a data-driven organization that empowers lasting community transformation through research and innovation to inform policy and scale social and economic initiatives. AIRCE transitioned from Clivios to expand its reach and impact. Clivios was a Community-Based Organization (CBO) established in 2016, supporting children's homes and teen mothers in Nairobi, with a strong focus on education and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) programs within the centers. Building on the solid foundation from its predecessor, AIRCE is expanding its mandate within the imaginaries of an Afrocentric social contract that places marginalized communities such as the youth and women at the heart of its work. AIRCE’s social contract has a two-pronged purpose of leveraging local knowledge into policy and scaling up community based socio-economic initiatives.
