About AFRICA YOUTH CONGRESS

Africa Youth Congress is a non-governmental, nonprofit charitable organization formed in USA by Nigerian-American lawyer, Attorney Jude Menes. We are a BORDERLESS AFRICA uniting and empowering all African youths regardless of country, race, language, religion, tribe, or political affiliation. OUR GOAL is to provide African youths the leadership & entrepreneurship training, mentoring, business start-up grants/funds, & other economic & socioeconomic resources needed to become economically and socially empowered and independent. OUR VISION is to create avenues and tools for African youths to sufficiently participate in governance of their various countries so that they may inject new and forward-looking ideas and policies to develop and build a better Africa. To encourage African youths to realize that their lives and destinies are somehow intertwined. If an injustice is happening in one African country, it could happen in any African country. WE HAVE PLATFORMS & PARTNERSHIPS to empower African youths and secure the future of Africa. We are regularly lobbying and persuading international companies that operate in Africa or benefit from our natural resources to ensure that they train and hire more African youths among their workforce. Our partnership with Florida-based Planet Startup, Inc., provide leadership and business/entrepreneurship training and mentoring to business-mined youths. We provide them access to business startup funding and grants. Our Fashion Week Africa promotes aspiring African models, fashion designers, and fashionistas. Our Downtown Africa online magazine showcases all things good about Africa in order to drive direct foreign investment and tourism to Africa. For music and entertainment, our Downtown Africa Entertainment Company provides music/movie recordings/productions, distributions, training, & mentoring. We are also working to empower sports-talented youths. MEMBERSHIP is open to all African youths and their well-wishers. IT'S TIME!
