About African Entrepreneurship Development Corporation - AEDC Group

The African Entrepreneurship Development Corporation (AEDC Group) is a pioneering entrepreneurship and development finance institution committed to transforming Africa’s economic landscape through entrepreneurship. Guided by our motto “From entrepreneurial intent to activity, we ought to be part of every journey, unlocking potential and establishing sustainable enterprises in Africa” At the heart of AEDC lies a powerful value proposition: we serve as a catalytic partner in unlocking Africa’s vast entrepreneurial potential by integrating finance, capacity building, and innovation into one cohesive development platform. We address the critical gaps that hinder entrepreneurship access to capital, knowledge, networks, and infrastructure through a holistic approach that fosters inclusive growth and economic resilience. As a catalyst for entrepreneurship development we strive to be an enabler, connector, and advocate for sustainable enterprise development. Through tailored financial solutions, entrepreneurial education, mentorship, and strategic partnerships, AEDC accelerates innovation and drives investments that align with Africa’s long-term development goals. Finally, embedding sustainability, inclusivity, and impact at the core of our model, AEDC is building a future where African entrepreneurs lead the charge in driving job creation, reducing inequality, and reshaping economies across the continent. We believe that every entrepreneur’s journey holds the power to transform communities and AEDC is here to make that transformation possible.
