Founded in 1996, Aftermath is the only national specialist provider of biohazard remediation services, also known as "crime scene cleanup" or crime and trauma scene decontamination (CTS decon). We have regional offices and mobile teams deployed to 48 states across the US, operating 24/7, 365 days a year. The hallmarks of "The Aftermath Way" are twofold: the highest level of quality assurance for sanitation and removal of biohazardous materials, and a compassionate approach to what is generally a highly traumatic situation for families and property owners. We are the market leaders in the biohazard industry, both in terms of our advanced scientific processes and our commitment to maturing the marketplace. Because we often work with some of the most complex situations, from mass casualty to homicide/suicide to industrial accidents, we developed highly compliant and effective methods that meet or exceed expectations. Our goal is quickly restore safety and usability to affected structures, and to help people get back to their lives with the least amount of pain possible. We regularly receive inquiries about "What's it like to be a crime scene cleaner?" We generally explain first that we're not CSI - we're not investigating or solving crimes. We're making crime scenes go away, and we're helping families through the worst day of their lives. It takes a special kind of person to devote their career to this industry, but we feel it's a higher calling and a worthy mission.
