About Ahana Counselling & Consulting

AHANA Counselling & Consulting is a private practice specializing in mental health, addiction, and child welfare. With over 35 years of professional experience, I have collaborated with a range of nonprofit organizations, the United Nations, the World Bank, and agencies including the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), Northern Health, and professional practice. I am a registered social worker in both Ontario and British Columbia, providing comprehensive services to individuals and families addressing issues related to mental health, substance abuse, and child welfare. As a mental health professional and wellness counselor affiliated with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), I support First Nations and Indigenous communities across British Columbia by addressing their mental health and wellness needs. My work also involves partnerships with public and private Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service providers across Canada. If you are experiencing loneliness, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or feelings of being overwhelmed, I am available to offer professional support tailored to your psychological well-being.
