About AIMHI (AI Mental Health Initiative)

AIMHI (AI Mental Health Initiative) is building a new kind of mental-health platform—one that combines the empathy of licensed clinicians with the 24/7 availability of conversational AI. The problem we tackle: millions in the UK, Ireland and beyond wait months for therapy or receive inconsistent care. Clinicians are overstretched; services face rising demand and tight budgets. Our approach: • Hybrid AI + human therapy – an evidence-based AI coach delivers CBT-informed guidance and mood tracking, while qualified psychotherapists oversee every case, step in when higher-level care is needed, and sign off on all safety protocols. • Regulation-ready – designed from day one to align with NHS DTAC, NICE Evidence Standards, EU/UK MDR (SaMD) and GDPR. • Human-in-the-loop safety – real-time risk flags, clinician dashboards and audit trails keep people safe and accountable. • Research at our core – we are forming academic partnerships to run pilots and publish transparent outcomes. Our mission is to expand access to high-quality, person-centred mental-health support—so no one is left waiting when they need help. Who we work with: NHS & HSE innovation leads, mental-health charities, academic research centres, forward-thinking employers and private clinics. If you share our vision for ethical, evidence-driven digital care, we’d love to connect. • Pilot or partner enquiries: [email protected] • Media / speaking / research: [email protected] AIMHI – “Aim High” for mental health.
