About Aitheras Aviation Group

Aitheras Medical Group is redefining the future of air medical transport. As one of the only fixed-wing carriers specializing in the air medical business, we provide door-to-door transportation for critically ill patients and also facilitate organ procurement. Lives depend on our ability to transport seriously ill or injured patients or life-saving organs quickly and safely. That's why we're proud to offer one of the fastest response times in the business. With a flight team stationed right at the airport, and nearly two dozen pilots available, we are always available to handle even last-minute trips. We are accessible 24/7. So regardless of when you need us, our phones are on and we're available to answer questions and start prepping for a life-saving flight. Our ability to partner with leading medical and organ recovery organizations is a direct result of our unsurpassed safety track record. Our crews are continually trained and drilled on the latest air ambulance procedures. In addition, Aitheras only allows pilots with captain status to fly. With two captains at the control panels, there is qualified backup should the unexpected occur. And, we utilize our own in-house maintenance department, thus ensuring our aircraft are always maintained to a level that meets or exceeds governmental standards. It’s also worth noting that we are one of only a few fixed-wing operators helping the FAA set new standards for safety in the industry through the new Safety Management System (SMS) program.
